Yes, please. I love this new reproduction home in Colonial Williamsburg. Want to see more? A lot more? Click here. It's much larger than it looks. Wait until you see the back view. Love!!!!
Rosemary, since i was a girl, I haven't been able to get enough of Colonial Williamsburg, it's homes and gardens. Yet, this post told me something about myself and my evolving preferences for decor that surprised even me. When I moved from the exterior of this quintessential CW home to views of interior spaces my passion for it cooled!!! The saturated colors, richly ornamented rooms, clearly no longer are my go-tos. Some of these elements are in my own home and and I have been looking for ways to "lighten up." Thank you for this walk back in time and the helpful contrast it provided.
Thank you Rosemary. Having saved my issues of Colonial Homes, I appreciate the attention to detail and timeless features of this home. Too much of what we are fed by interior designers these days feels throw-away. Perhaps we are the last generation to be attracted to this? I hope not.
