Blueberry Cake Photo YUM

I wish I could tell you I had the recipe for this particular delicious-looking cake but sadly, I do not! I found another one that looks similar -- recipe here. I am finding I can decrease the amount of sugar called for in all recipes, and the taste is still fine and not overly sweet. Enjoy. xo

Looks delicious! However, the recipe says it's dairy free but it has milk in it.

Betty -- you can use soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk, etc. and it will be dairy free. I never have milk in my fridge, but I always have soy milk and it always works in a recipe..

The recipe you found looks so good...but I think if I dredge my fresh blueberries in some of the flour they can be gently folded into the batter in the beginning and won't sink to the bottom. This little cake should bake up normally, without having the 2 step process of adding the blueberries 20 minutes into baking. I am going to attempt it, at the very least. Thank you!!!

Looks delicious. I would put a streusel topping on it. I think I'd probably eat just about any baked goods. That is why I can't bake anymore. No willpower.

Donna -- I hear you. I have the same problem but at least my last name isn't Baker :-)

Vickie H. -- Good idea. I would probably burn myself on the oven racks if I had to add the blueberries well into the baking process. I'm sure your way will work too.
