Cute as pie! Wouldn't you love to have this little potting shed in your back yard? This has been a very unusual year for gardening in New Jersey. It's still very cool for the end of June and we have had so much rain. The perennials have been wonderful and my peonies were never more beautiful. How does your garden grow? via

My garden/yard is struggling, we've had temps in the 90's for weeks now and of course no rain....it's the desert. My whole yard hard and planting beds have an in ground irrigation system, you have to have that if you want anything to survive. All of my plantings are still in transplant shock. I'm sure I'll lose some plantings but not sure how much loss there will be, probably won't know until next year. I'm trying to grow some Hostas and Hydrangeas but so far they are they are having a hard time. That's a darling garden shed, would love one but don't have room so I'll just enjoy your posting.
Gorgeous...all of it! And you gave me a great idea!
I have the cutest playhouse for my grandchildren.......who are now so tall they are taller than the roof! Not one could stand up in it.....(they loved it when they were little)! Potting shed? Maybe! It sure is cute!
I admit to "taking" some of the gorgeous pictures on your blog to share with my friends. this shed is beyond wonderful. I WANT it.
As to the weather here in mid coast Maine-- cool mostly and then too hot. We are having lots of overnight rain which is good for the grass, trees and perennials--not so good for the vegetable garden. And yes, my peonies were splendid this year. In fact, all of my flowering trees and shrubs really maxed out on flowering this Spring and Summer. Today is overcast, dark and wet. So Mosquito City.
Our weather all of June has been much like yours. Cooler than normal with a high amount of precipitation. My garden just isn't growing as it should be because of the lack of warmth and perhaps most of all sunshine! Nice for working on outside projects though if you can dodge the frequent showers.
Mama Pea -- This is the first year in a long time I have planted any seeds. It is taking "FOREVER" for them to germinate. I finally have nasturtiums and corriander but the waiting game has been agonizing. Are you having the same trouble? Have a great July 4th.
