This little room certainly does look cozy. I would enjoy morning coffee and a muffin there too while organizing my day. This must be a very old house; just look at the width of those ceiling boards. This room is shiplap at its best, way before it became trendy. via

I have a couple of hallways that I wish I had shiplapped when building our little cottage. That's just one of several things on my list of "Should have done but didn't."
This is such a cozy space and I love the ticking pillows but I confess I've never liked eating in bed. Crumbs and spillage would be the results for me but I'm sure a lot of people would love it. Now reading in bed I excel at that.
so simple and still - you're right . . . the perfect place to form a plan for the day. And may it be an excellent one for you, dear Rosemary.
