My goodness, a while herd. I like looking at them but I don't like that they bring ticks into the yard. Do you ever check for ticks Rosemary?

Rosemary,

Beautiful deer on your "back forty". They are such pretty creatures, but can devour your garden. I built fences to keep them out of mine. Still, occasionally they get in.

Loved your facial tip with the aspirin, yogurt, and lemon. I was an aesthetician for 20 years, and have not heard of this one. Will have to try it.

Oh! I rarely envy anything.....!!! But I am completely envious of these deer in your garden! I plant roses to entice them! They actually found my roses I planted for them in Pasadena! Not one have I seen! I plant plants that deer want to eat!

(I know this is not a popular idea!)

I adore seeing this picture of those beautiful and gentle animals!! Thank you! You lucky duck!

Queen V -- Victoria -- Yes, I check myself for ticks daily. I almost always find one after prolonged bouts of weeding. They love me and I've had Lyme Disease a number of times. Not fun! Thanks for the warning. I rarely see the deer near the house and I don't have any plantings they like to eat.
Keep plugging away and you will soon be settled in your new Utah home. My skin would not like that dry climate. I would immediately turn into a potato chip. Have a great July 4th.

Rosemary, I felt grateful to have survived so many years in Virginia without getting Lyme Disease. I had several friends who acquired it there, didn't know and now have endless health problems. This past year I had a friend who was bitten by a Texas tick and now can't eat any meat or diary products because of it.

Love your analogy of dry skin and potato chips. I think in the month we've been here my skin has aged 5 years....but....I'm having great hair days, joints ache less and asthma is somewhat better. Lots more lotions and creams being applied now that's for sure.
