Oh hi! I notice not many comments lately on other blogs!
anyway; this reminds me of my Godmother who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina.....in a house that is now a museum! (Reynolda); I have never seen such a big lawn! She explained to me.....(I was 15) I do not like the noise of lawn-mowers....so we have sheep! I was awe-struck coming from Southern California. I went down to meet the sheep! They were gentle and lovely. I wanted to take them home!!!
I will never forget the peacefulness and beauty and the animals who contributed to that beautiful landscape! I have always wanted sheep!!!
How forward-thinking was she!!? This was about 1963! Gas-powered lawn mowers are huge polluters...and sheep fertilize as they chew! Goats also!
