Need Very Little

This is so true. I've been very busy lately and the only thing I've really needed is a huge supply of tissues for my cold. Day 12 is coming to an end and it's so much better but still lingering. I'm at the dry cough stage now. So annoying.

Rosemary, try using Luden's Cough Drops. I put two in my mouth to dissolve while I go to sleep. Works beautifully.

My son called today to ask what we wanted for Christmas. We couldn't think of anything. I'm trying desperately to let go of things and organize. His visit at Christmas means more than anything he could buy. And health! That means a lot. I do hope you're feeling 100% soon. At least we're not shoveling snow.

there are not many things worse in life than a cold. Personal things; I mean.

A cold s the worse sickness that one can have......I guess the flu is worse....I just get a flu shot....so I am really lucky.

A cold is kind of hell.....I mean it!

Get well....and say hello to Webster.

Rosemary,
Feel better. I've had the same lingering cold, coupled with laryngitis. It's lasted for a full week. I hope it's planning its exit this week.

I keep a package of Luden's cough drops by my bed. Sometimes I need them as I go to bed,; sometimes I need them in the middle of the night. They are one of the best sleep enhancers I've ever found as they work for either a wet cough or a dry one. I hope you are all done coughing soon.

This quote is very true. We don't need a lot to be happy, many of us just think we do. Most of us have too much and the burden of what we own pulls us down instead of lifting us up and making us happy. I know what brings me joy and happiness, it's not stuff it all has to do with people.

Karen.....We have the same one. Mine started with laryngitis and it comes and goes. I stayed in all day yesterday and used the neti pot with a couple of drops of rosemary essential oil in addition to the Himalayan salt. I gargled with it too. I had to use an old soft beach towel instead of tissues while my sinuses drained. I feel much better today. When I go out I will look for those Luden's cough drops Linda Sands recommends. I've been using Hall's Mentho-Lyptus. They are just okay. I need that Luden's magic and I think I will live.

So true for me. Too much to do and I don't want to do it all. My kids and grands depend on me though. It makes me crabby as I want them to take it all over. Will have to try harder.

To Everyone...

I had a very good day today and didn't blow my nose even once.
The worst is over. On the mend.
Almost well.
Hooray.
