It's almost time to start wearing sweaters. I think this precious puppy has almost outgrown this one because his back legs no longer fit in the slits. via
Adorable! My niece lives in Buenos Aires and she has two rescued babies. Her larger dog is fine with winter weather, but her much smaller Willy is always cold. I've knitted several doggie sweaters for him and none of the patterns have slits for the legs; the body of the sweater can be made as long as the dog, then there's a drawstring that can be used to tighten it slightly if needed. Little Willy has quite an assortment of sweaters.

Either that or his folks leave his back legs free and clear when it's time for a potty stop! ;o]
Oh my gosh, how sweet is this?
