Old Key that Was Never Lost

So amazing. I spend countless hours searching for keys and my glasses. Doesn't everyone?
The original key used at Stirling Castle in Scotland. The Castle dates from at least the early 12th century; present buildings mostly built between 1490 and 1600. I wonder how big this key is? I'm sure it must be quite large, never to have been lost in 900 years, counting from the 12th century to the 21st century! It's beautiful, isn't it? via

Oh to have to have a key like that for a front door. The extra weight and size would be worth the inconvenience due to it's beauty!

Oh I too have spent a lot of time looking for keys and specs although I'm doing a lot better. I've finally gotten into the habit of hanging my keys up on a key holder by the back door, it's only taken me about 5 decades to develop that habit. My solution to the eye glass problem is to have multiple specs all over the house.

I bet the castle key is pretty large, I do wonder if it is the only ONE or if they have a spare. It's really a work of art isn't it?
