DIY Kitchen Remodel Costing < $3,000.

Bravo. It's wonderful!

Before photo. I wish I could see more in the after photos to see where they put the refrigerator, wall oven and microwave. By reading the article, I learned they kept the tile floor but covered it with rag rugs. I adore the new kitchen sink! The entire project took 6 days and cost less than $3,000. Read the story and see more photos here.

The kitchen sink is really the highlight of this remodel. They did a fantastic job picking out unique cupboards, and really opening up the room. Like you said, I wish they would have shown more of the finished product, I would have loved to see what they did with their appliances, and what the floor looked like.

They stated in the article that no appliances were replaced because of cost. Great article and I, also, loved the sink and faucet.

I love before and afters and his if a wonderful one.! Looks like they used IKEA cupboards, counters and sink. Just goes to show you that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a terrific look. I love the IKEA sink, trying to figure out how I can get it in my next kitchen.

Great job! The more you can lessen your expenses for that, the better. Kitchen remodeling is supposed to build up and improve, not knock down your resources, and so far, so good, you won that round. You just have to make sure that the sinks and drains are working like charm, and will do so for the long run. Thanks for sharing that! All the best!
