I did go to the Home Depot today and got caulk and a caulking gun and I intend to master both. I'm still digging out grout and I'm doing that masterfully too. See you in the morning. xo
Ah,caulking. The thing I often forget is that the pressure is still there even when I stop squeezing the handle. How many times have I diverted my attention to smoothing the caulk, mindlessly holding the gun off the the side, and looked back to discover globs of caulk oozing out on the floor. Sigh. I never seem to learn. Getting a perfectly smooth finish has always eluded me, though I am better than I used to be. BTW, have you considered a grout sealer to forestall the pesky mildew stains on the grout? Good luck on your job, and don't forget to twist and pull back on the plunger when you pause.
Grout or caulk, neither job is particularly fun but quite necessary and more often than I would like. I know you will do a very professional and thorough job. Rosemary I'm convinced you can do anything you set your mind to, you are not afraid of hard work and getting your hands dirty.
