I've always loved this circa 1806 house. It's not visible from the road so most people in the area won't even miss it when it's torn down but I will. I had to drive by one more time to memorialize it and preserve my memory. I'm very sad that the new owner has chosen this path. Such a sad conclusion for what could have been a wonderful restoration. I'm glad it wasn't my listing.

Very sad indeed. Are they taking down the "silo" as well? I guess some folks don't care that much about preserving history. Do you have HGTV? You would love "Rehab Addict". It is about this woman who saves old houses from demolition and restores them.
