I just set my DVR to record both new episodes of Season 7 Miss Marple on Masterpiece Mystery on PBS. Tonight is going to be a wonderful TV night. I am also recording Madam Secretary and The Good Wife on CBS. I'm always happy when the good shows start at 8pm, aren't you? Happy viewing.

Yes, I actually have too many good shows to watch.
even though joan hickson is the only true miss marple... LOL...
i love this one too!
how can we not?
so glad to have it tonight...
since i'd be in withdrawals from wanting more of the roosevelts by ken burns!
Thanks for mentioning these Miss Marple shows, Rosemary. I've set them to record and will try to watch one later this evening. I don't watch much TV, but I seem to have very similar taste as you do. :) Have a good week!
Agreed ... Joan Hickson is the only real Miss Marple, but Julia McKenzie does a good job. Do you remember her decades ago as the wife in Fresh Fields, an old favorite?
NOTE: I keep an eye on what time the football game ends so I know how to adjust the recording times. Game just went into overtime, so both CBS shows are going to run very late. I wish there was a cable box that could adjust recording for the actual time of airing ... By show, not time.
Cheers ...happy viewing

Fast goal ... Game only pushing CBS back a half hour.
It's going to be a busy television week. I'm so excited to see a few new programs and looking forward to 2 episodes of Miss Marple.
Happy Sunday!

This Miss Marple actress looks just like my Grandfather's sisters, I must have English ancestors!
Why make a new version of A Caribbean Mystery when the Hickson one is so much better? Why not make a new show altogether? Just asking.
I agree with Tammy, Joan Hickson is the perfect and ultimate Miss Marple….but I too continue to watch all the later reincarnations and interpretations.
In answer to Molly, they keep filming new versions of Christie's stories because the public loves Christie and the producers and family make money.
I had to watch these two latest entries on the computer. I enjoyed Greenshaw's Folly and found this version of A Carribbean Mystery just so so.
