This is gorgeous. I love the ground cover. Mother Nature isn't so neat in my neck of the woods. One of my neighbors saw a bear on our street a couple of weeks ago and I found evidence that he was on my property too. Bear Poo! Exciting and scary. I hope I never see the bear up close. I'm happy all of my wild raspberries are gone. I'm sure he was just passing through looking for something to eat. via

Oooh that is just beautiful! I wonder where the photo was taken.
Oh how I would love to see a forest floor like that. My woods are covered in deep leaves and fallen limbs. That must be in an evergreen forest.
A bear !!! ... I heard a few weeks ago of a bear attack cause by a walker's dog chasing him. Good heavens, do you think Webster would go after him?
Beautiful forrest floor.
My husband has always wanted to own woods so would love this. I would be scared of the bear.

Karen....
I worry about Webster now when I let him out by himself in the morning. If I am with him he responds to voice commands if I yell for him to stop. He knows our boundary and stays within. Winter is coming and the bear will be hibernating, hopefully far away.

Mother Nature sure lays great carpet, doesn't she? The shot reminded me of parts of the Northwest. I'd be cautious letting Webster out by himself. We have coyote in our area and I always check the yard before I let our little dog out. I have had friends that have lost small pets to them.

Karen...Thanks. You are right. I should always go with the Wonder Dog. From now on, I shall. But I will look out all of my windows first. We took our last walk after dark last night, so maybe that's not such a good idea either from now on.
