Hitchcock Woods Residence.
This red sandy dirt road brings back memories of my previous life in South Carolina.
Yes, please.
Have a great Sunday. Mine is off to a good start. I woke up early and finished a movie I started last night. Then it started raining. Then it stopped. Now the sun is out and I have blue skies and white clouds and glistening raindrops on the trees. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? xo

My take…Lovely home, lovely setting, lovely dog paintings, creepy fox trophy.
Oh so lovely. You know I have friends in Aiken and consider it a truly charming place.
Hitchcock is a big name in Aiken ... From the WWII hero and the family in general.
The historic Wilcox Hotel is just a lovely place to stay or have lunch or just a drink.
Such a thrill to see your post, I will pass it along to my friends.

Oh ... P.S. ... You just can't do better than tongue and groove walls ... Similar to yours. They just look so special.
Glad you are enjoying g your weekend.
Like Karen above, I adore Aiken. I have friends there and visit when I can. It's delightful, especially for those (like me) who are horse people. It's among a handful of truly special places, even if you're not enamored of, or involved with, horses. Just a genteel, historic southern town. Thanks for sharing the link.
