I think I have walked this very street on Beacon Hill, and a lovely street it 'twas. Would love to go back to Boston again some day.

JudyMac....I have only visited Boston in the summer and each time it was broiling hot. It looks delightful in these fall photos. That's when I should go next time.

I love the top photo; we will be in that season before you know it. There's a street in Old Town Alexandria that is built of the same rock cobbles, I always take visitors there to see it. I often tell my visitors that if one was pregnant and wanted to bring on labor you could just ride quickly over the cobbled road in a carriage, I'm sure it would do the trick.
