This looks like an ideal place to wile away the weekend with a good book. I just finished Every Last One by Anna Quindlen and loved it. In a nutshell - it's a novel about facing every last one of the things we fear the most, about finding ways to navigate a road we never intended to travel. photo credit

Thank you so much, Rosemary. The Huffington Post article was refreshing. Convinced you're losing your mind, it's a comfort hearing someone say "What you are feeling is normal." I had reached a point where I began to think this is the price I have to pay for 43 years of joy. When I'm not distracted my family and friends, or activities, I think of him constantly. It's exhausting and I find myself pleading with him to give me peace. I don't talk about it any longer with friends. I realized I made them uncomfortable, uncomfortable because they are fearful of the day this will no doubt happen to them.
Upon reading this post, I checked my library for the book, checked it out Saturday, just finished it tonight. (And would have finished it sooner if it weren't for pesky things like work.) Thanks for the recommendation and for saying just enough about the book to intrigue me but not give too much away.
