Another view of my living room.

It's really hard to get a good shot of my front to back living room with my iPhone.
As you can see, Webster is on his best behavior. Every time I see him lounging near my new sofas, I can just hear him saying, "I'm not touching." He's such a good dog. So far, Tabitha has walked by them and hasn't been interested in the least. She's happy when I throw her favorite blanket on top of my bed. We had hard rain yesterday and more is predicted today. It's beyond muggy and it looks almost like fog outside. Stay dry. xo

i love it when you give us glimpses of your beautiful cozy but elegant cottage.
they are lovely sofas ... but i liked the ones that webster was allowed upon!
will he still be allowed up there on a lovely tartan throw when it's wintertime?
hint hint! xoxo♥

Your new sofas are so elegant and just perfect for your living room. Backs are a little higher than I would normally go for, but higher backs are great for tilting the head back for a short snooze. And I'm all for Webster getting to snooze on them; Tabitha, too.

I'm guessing Webster smells the mohair and somehow, is not attracted! Lisa

Anonymous...Actually Webster has been limping for the past two days so he really hasn't tried to jump up. He can't jump on my bed any more and he can't jump in the car. I need to devise a ramp for him. He's very spry in most ways for his 12 years but he pays the price when he over does it chasing a rabbit or something like that.

JudyMac...I agree with you about the high backs on the love seats. I wouldn't have chosen them myself at all but they really look nice in my room and they are so very comfortable. My old love seats were curved and I couldn't really stretch out but I can on these.
The house my new loveseats came from was designed by Scott Sanders and it was one of the nicest new houses I've ever seen. It was on the market and is now under contract. Having been in the house, I knew there had to be something for me so I waited in line at opening bell for the Estate Sale.
That's the story. Google that decorator. He has the best taste and once worked at Ralph Lauren before going out on his own. He has written a book I just ordered.

All I can say is Webster is a lucky dog having you as his "person". You are caring for him as an elderly dog and he is living his golden years as well as we would like. Lisa

Oh I think it looks just lovely ... The sofas are gorgeous. You said "another view" so maybe I can't find a first view? Everything tends to look great in your darling house. Sorry to hear Webster is limping a bit, the poor soul.

Thanks for giving us a peek, always a treat.

Off to bed, watched a very old movie tonight ... An Unmarried Woman .. Good.

I feel like I'm reading a book and every day brings a new chapter. The saga of the sofas and their history. I'm enjoying all the photos too.

Those couches look as though they were designed for your home too. The high backs go perfectly with your table. I love when you show us pics of your home also...Corinne
