My friend Janine (a clothing designer) was getting onto the freeway (the on-ramp from a hard part of downtown Los Angeles); she looked down and saw this little dog...on the way down to the freeway!
She stopped; put on her blinkers and picked her up!
This is what she looks like! And this is how she bounds! (four feet off the ground)
anyway....I said: I can't have more than two dogs; but I can keep her for two weeks to try to find her a home (our "Mr and Mrs Agreement!)
She slept on Adam's head the first night. Never left his ankle the next day. Slept on his head the second night. Adam came out and said this:
"I'm not changing the rule! But now we have two dogs and a "backup"!!

Penelope....
I love your husband's new rule -- two dogs and a backup. Yes, you are a lucky duck!

I've looked at this post several times, it just makes me smile. That pup looks so frisky and full of energy, I'm sure he/she will not be left behind.
