Interior Design Watercolor using an App

I had a request for an interior watercolor from a photo using the Waterlogue App for iPhone. This is the front hall of my real estate listing. I used the "technical" setting because it looks like the graph paper architects use. I like it, don't you? Request granted. Someone from Pinterest wanted this.

This is lovely! Thank you! I knew interior shots would be gorgeous! I hope this app will be a great tool for your real estate listings. I love this shot!

What do you print them on? Photo paper or water color? I printed a pic of my garden on photo paper but thought it would look much better on water color paper. Any ideas? Thank you for telling us about this app. I'm having a lot of fun.

Does the app make it pretty easy or do you have to tweak the photo a bit?
It really looks like a watercolor.

Karen....It's very easy. There's not a lot of tweeking you can do. You can make lighter or darker. You can add a border or remove a border. That's it. Oh, and you can change the size, but I've never done that. Very easy. However there are 15 different choices and sometimes you just have to see them all! You can save to your camera roll every time you like a version by clicking on a little heart and decide which one is your favorite later. Not all photos make good watercolors. But some make great ones! I love this app.

Joanne...I haven't printed one yet but when I do I will definitely try watercolor paper. I have a tablet of it and I will use my paper cutter to trim for the printer. I also have some linen-weave paper that might be good too.

I love it! It reminds me of a Carl Larsson painting.

Thank you, Rosemary. I will give those options a try. The paper has to be thin to go around the printer. I'll buy some linen weave paper first and see how that turns out. I used photo paper yesterday but then it does not look like a painting which is not the effect we want.
Have a wonderful Sunday,
