Are you watching FLEMING on BBC America?

This 4-part mini-series is SO good. It's about the life of Ian Fleming.
I stumbled on it quite by accident this past Wednesday. I didn't realize it was a 4-week event. Part One is being repeated tonight at 11:00pm in my area. Here is the website. Check the schedule to see when it's on again in your area.
I'm really upset that Sunday will be the finale of Sherlock. Didn't it just begin? BooHoo. I would have preferred 6 one hour episodes instead of 3 two hour episodes. How about you? At least I'll have Fleming to look forward to on Wednesday nights. Aren't you glad you have me to tell you what to watch?

I recorded Fleming Premiere last night, looking forward to watching it soon. This was the first I heard about it, the promotion was aired during last Saturday's Graham Norton Show .. which you know I love.

Maybe Sunday, while the rest of the world will be watching the Super Bowl ... I imagine none of the networks will put their good programs against it. Maybe Downton Abbey? Not really the same crowd, you would think.

Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend.

I, of one, am really glad you tell us what to watch. We have very similar tastes, and, if I miss something good, you are there to remind me. Thanks so much and I will check out the Ian Fleming series. By the by, Sherlock will continue next season, say that's the case.

Thank you for the 'Fleming' note - will watch the episode tonight!

And YES regarding 'Sherlock' . . . when I read 'season finale', didn't it just get started? I would vastly prefer four episodes than two hour ones (I had to tape the last half hour - I couldn't keep my eyes open:) It plays better in a one hour format.

I caught Flemming and think it will be great. Yes Sherlock just started and is now ending way to soon. For this summer Starz has produced The Outlander and I can't wait to see it. I hope it is as well done as those we love from BBC or PBS. I've had to go back to re-read it and also picked up the Audible version and forgot how much I loved this book. PattiO

Thanks for the heads up on that one. Just programmed the DVR. And, I did not realize there were only going to be 3 episodes of Sherlock! Hmmmphf!

tammy j -- The premier of Fleming is being repeated on BBC America tonight at 11pm and tomorrow (Saturday) at 4pm. Check your listings. You have two more chances before episode 2 next Wednesday.

Thank you so much for the heads up about Ian Fleming. Thanks to you, I've already got it set to record later (8 pm here) I would not have known about it were it not for you, Rosemary.

Oddly enough, even though they're speaking English, I sometimes miss some of the dialogue. Recorded I can watch it time and time again.

I agree with billie. We share similar tastes so I love your recommendations.

Yes, I am happy that you tell us what to watch. You're mostly telling me things I'm already watching, but sometimes something pops up that I didn't know about. I'm sorry that I don't get BBC America as I would for sure watch the Fleming series. Also sorry that Sherlock is such a short series - what is with that? Even at 2 hours an episode, it's way too short!

Not sure my comment came throught, so I'll try again. Yes, I am happy that you tell us what to watch. While I don't get BBC America so can't take your recommendation to watch the Fleming series (much as I'd like to), I do love the Sherlock series and think it's much too short - what's up with that? Even with 2 hour episodes - still too short!

Carol...It is being repeated THIS AFTERNOON (Saturday) AT 4PM. Not tonight. This afternoon is the last repeat of the premier episode. Part 2 is Wednesday night.
