Snow is Falling

I'm glad I went out yesterday to do some essential things related to a real estate contract. I'll be able to stay home today and shovel snow once I get my equipment out of the bunker.

What a difference a day makes.

I'm curious . . . in your area will this snow stay on the ground now for the rest of the winter or will it all melt?

No, I don't think so. The snow will probably melt when the sun comes out. It's supposed to be sunny for the next 3 days but the temperature is going to drop so it might be around for a while. We'll have to wait and see. We have had a relatively mild winter so far and the ground isn't frozen as hard as a rock yet.

It's lovely to cozy up in your warm house if you don't have to leave. Enjoy the beauty.

We are just getting rain here, but north in D.C. I think it's snow for them.

I miss the snow .. xo

Beautiful scene in your outback. Even the rooster has a lovely mantle of snow. I only "love" the snow anymore when I can stay inside where it's warm, with a good book and coffee on hand, and have absolutely no reason to get out. As you know, we get snow infrequently where I live, and not having to dig out to go to work (particularly when it's cold and blustery) is probably what I appreciate most about retirement.

I am just a little jealous of the beauty you photographed so beautifully! Living in Florida, we have to work harder to find seasonal changes, but there are many here who would argue with me:)
