Happy New Year 2014

I love a good fireworks display, don't you? I posted this exploding ball on July 4th and it's perfect for New Year's Eve too. Have a lovely last night of 2013.

Hubby and I just returned from going out for an early dinner of burgers. The temp is -14 and I'm so glad we're home now for the evening.

The best of all wishes to you for a wonderful New Year!

Mama Pea...Sounds like a perfect New Year's Eve to me. Single digits and snow headed my way on Thursday. Happy New Year to you and yours too.

The Pennsylvania Dutch tradition says that pork and sauerkraut on New Years Day brings luck for the new year ahead. Have my roast and home made sauerkraut ready to go. I am near Lk George NY and they will be having fireworks at midnight! It will be a bit chilly at 9 degrees.
Happy New Year to you, Tabitha and Webster. Stay warm.

Taking your lead and advice, I got all my stuff to recycling center. Just might spend tomorrow with the shedder to get rid of still more Thursday.

Enjoy your New Year's. My late-husband and I got to be such fuddy-duddys, we seldom made it to midnight. We kissed early and I'll miss that.

We had a early evening, too.
We celebrated at 3:00 PM, which was midnight in Paris. I decorated in a Parisian theme, including music. I asked everyone to dress as "French" as they could. Several of us wore our tams.
Now I can rest and go to bed early.
Happy New Years, 2014!
