An Architectural Pineapple in Scotland

The Pineapple at Dunmore Park, Scotland -- I've never heard of this, have you. I've never seen another photo either. Is this a well-kept secret? via What an amazing architectural feat.

How odd and beautiful.

Someone had to be very passionate about that welcoming symbol to have gone to all the trouble of having it built.

I wonder if it could be done today and what the bill would be. LOL

Yes Rosemary ... I absolutely recognize it. My sister gave me for Christmas one year one of those Lilliput Lane houses, I just went to look at the bottom and it says "The Pineapple House" ... how wild is this!

I never knew that there was a real one, just admired it because it is so sweet .. it sits on a bookshelf amongst my books.

Thanks for the picture, you might Google Lilliput Lane The Pineapple House and see what comes up.

Oh yes, just Googled it. There is one on eBay now for $35. It's so delightful to look at.

I found a new (to me) blog called Design Meets Style. They have a cute kitchen featured. I thought you might like it.
Enjoy your blog. Look forward to reading it every day.
