Breakfast is On the Way

The eggs are boiling and Webster's waiting for one on top of his kibble and oatmeal.

I always put my eggs in cold water and bring them to a boil. Then I put on the lid and turn off the burner. In ten minutes they are perfect. Webster thinks that's too long to wait. I think I'll have mine sliced on top of a piece of buttered toast. Yum. I have no idea why I'm up so early but it's nice. See you later.

That sounds delicious. We had breakfast for dinner last evening, a favorite at our house.
Have a wonderful day, you'll have extra minutes to enjoy.

He looks like he's thinking, "When is she going to get it done, I'm really hungry."

That's how I cook eggs too and that's also what I had for breakfast except I ate mine with a cinnamon crunch bagel from Panera and a banana.

Yesterday it was 70 and rainy, today it dropped 20 degrees and there is a chilly breeze. I have bulbs to plant and leaves to rake, maybe tomorrow.

For years I tried to hard boil eggs, without "green" or runny insides.
Your way is the tried and true way.

Your picture had me running to the kitchen to hard boil some of our eggs. They were perfect!
