My First iPhone Photo

I took this photo in the parking lot of the mall when leaving the Apple Store almost two years ago in October 2011. I still love my 4S but am anxious for the release of the 5S any day now so I can learn about the new features. I will be eligible for an upgrade if it's awesome. I've come a long way since purchasing my first "smart" phone and can't imagine not having one. I am honestly still learning new things about the one I have.

I need a new iPhone as I'm having problems with the button at the bottom on my 3G. I know the battery on the 5 doesn't last as long as the 4, maybe they've improved that on the 5s. My son had to buy a backup battery for his 5 which makes the phone kind of heavy; maybe he looks at too many videos on his phone, that really sucks the juice out it. I also don't like the fact that the power/charging cord is different from all the other Apple products, I loved that their cords were interchangeable. I think I'm getting old as some changes make me a little grumpy. I don't use many of the features on my iPhone but I love it. It is my favorite camera. As my hubby says, we have to keep up...use it or lose it. That is so true with technology.

... I'm on the 3rd month of my 5 and I love it ... it's my first iphone ... the great thing about it is that you can ask anyone around you how to do something and they know, it's like a pickup line for dating, in some ways ...

I'm still learning so much, just got on Instagram a couple days ago, so have that to learn ..

Words with Friends is much fun to do when you have a moment between things .... there are egads, thousands of apps ...

we downloaded the free NOAA weather app, as it's greatly better than the weather that comes with the phone ..

the thing about battery ... I carry an extra cord and there is of course one in my car ... if I want to watch something, I just plug in and save the battery ..

good luck
