Pristine white and neat as a pin. Love every part of it, right down to the beautiful soft blanket placed on the back of the chair for anyone not wanting to go inside just yet.

Hola
Man oh man, do I love a white house!
I wonder if I would suffer from color remorse if I chose white siding for our house re-do?
TY for posting!

Seeing this, are you tempted to remove your shutters?

Has it stopped raining yet?

Has your new-best-friend-the-painter gotten underway?

Just as you were zeroing in upon paint colors in recent weeks, we have become keenly aware of shingles - the sort on roof tops. We must replace ours soon and find there are pleasing architectural options these days and, once again, the choice makes a big impact on the overall appearance of a house. Wish I could see up close the shingles on this beauty . . . they might be what we need.

Linda....There was a question on the website about the roofing material on this farmhouse:

The roof has wood shingles.

Flo....I have considered removing the shutters. BUT the shutter dog holes would have to be plugged and there is blocking behind them and the hanging hardware would have to be removed so I'll probably leave them this time around.

What a pretty house. I've only been to MA once and I thought it was very pretty. I love the kitchen in this house.
