Secret Window

Bifold raised-panel shutters not only make a handsome frame for the window, as in this Georgian-era library, but they also help keep drafts at bay. If you look closely, you will see the hinges for the bottom shutters. When they are open the room must be twice as wonderful with such a large window to frame the view and let in more natural light. via

I love the look of bookshelves built around a window or door. And those inside shutters are something I would really like.

I could spend all day in a room like that, especially if it is raining.

I am designing a future dream house - I hold the hope I may build it one day - and these shutters within the book shelf is very inspiring! I had designed a library landing and think I can pull inspiration from this idea! Thanks for sharing :)
