This is practically the only jewelry I ever wear other than my pearl earrings. The necklace seems perfect with everything. It was a thrift shop find purchased years ago and it remains my favorite.

That's the necklace you have on in your photo to the right! looks lovely on you! :)
I can see why you like it. It can be dressed up or down. I'll bet the white pearls look as though they are suspended in midair when black is the backdrop. Very pretty, and I'll bet you didn't spend more than $3 for it. Thrift stores are the best, especially when they benefit organizations such as senior citizen groups or hospice.
Not a thrift store find but interesting reading nevertheless about an estate sale, here: http://thegardenerscottage.blogspot.com
Wow, that is gorgeous. Don't you love it when your most beautiful and useful things have been thrifted? I have bracelets in a similar configuration which are my most versatile so I know what you mean.
I seem to remember paying about $7.00 at an upscale thrift shop to benefit a hospital. The beads are threaded on a gold chain. I forgot to mention that.
i know! treat yourself to a trip to London for the burberry! oh wait. no. not without webster and tabitha. they couldn't do without you right now. you'll have to find one here! xo
Very clever, my dear, let people think you got this in a thrift store so no one will know how expensive it really is! Just kidding! It looks great on you and on that point, I am not kidding! By spending less money on something that I truly love makes the thing even more special to me!
You are absolutely right. I'm much more proud of a bargain than something @ full retail. I don't own many of those since I rarely go into a store unless it's the Apple Store. I have to walk through Neiman's to get there from my favorite parking lot at the mall and I never stop to look at anything.
I just peeked at the tag on the necklace for the first time ever, and it is from the designer Anne Klein. I'm sure it was expensive when new.

It's very pretty. I have a favorite too that has a little bit of gold and a little bit of silver. It's perfect almost every day.

Now if I could just find a Burberry Trench Coat.
Have a great weekend!
