Crime-solving quartet premiers tonight on PBS in 'Bletchley Circle'

BLETCHLEY CIRCLE
A new miniseries premiers tonight on PBS @ 10pm in my area. Set in Britain in 1952, this review says it's supposed to be smart and highly suspenseful. I have already set my DVR. When the sisterhood of four detectives gets together to discuss a case, it is under the cover of a book club. I like it already!!!

Rosemary,
Thanks for the hot tip.
I am going to record this just in case I don't get to see it tonight.
Happy viewing.

.. I just set my DVR, thanks for the tip ... sounds great. BTW, where can you watch British Antiques Roadshow? I have searched everywhere, even on the web to watch. I would love to know. Thanks

Karen...

I watch the British version of Antiques Road Show on Ovation (I think) or BBC America. They are side by side on my FiOS. Ovation is 188 and BBC is 189. I think it's Ovation though. It's on early -- 9:00 in the morning.

Karen...

I just checked. The British version of Antiques Road Show IS on Ovation. It's on tomorrow morning from 10:00 am straight through until 2:00 PM. Four straight hours. Hooray!

I'll have to catch this on the computer later this week as this Sunday was over scheduled with other good things. I read a great article about this series in the UK Telegraph earlier in the week.

I recorded it too, it looks good!
Also, did you know that we copied Antiques Road Show from England?
I lived there in 1985 and that was one of my favorites! I wish they would copy "Songs of Praise", where they go into a church and record the congregation singing, that was one of my favorites too!

Thanks so much for the info on Ovation .. it's a new channel to me. I checked Cablevision and unfortunately they don't carry it here in CT ... which does not surprise me. Many thanks, Karen
