I prefer black and white or gray and white on floors, but this looks nice for a change.
I usually prefer blue and white checks in a bedroom but I have to admit these bunk beds look wonderful in red and white. Sorry I don't have source links. I'll try to add them later.

I agree with Penny, the bedroom looks cozy. I'll be perfectly honest though, that red checked floor in the kitchen would drive me crazy.
I often see rooms with a red and white decor theme and think they look so pretty but I find for myself that I can't live with a lot of red.
