I was passing by the french doors in the living room and spied this beautiful red fox in the snow. My camera with the long lens was nearby and I was able to get a good photo. He's beautiful, isn't he?

Beautiful. Keeping you in my prayers, know your mother is so missed.
Oh my goodness. What a treasure of a photo. Our fox also has long black leggings, and looks very healthy this year. He trots past the chicken coop a couple of times a day, just in case. ... Marky is proudly vigilant. The fox is calm and smart. Gives me a thrill to know that we share territory. Godspeed, beautiful foxes!

Happy New Year, Rosemary. I hope you and Mr. Webster are able to do a lot of dog-sitting this year.
What a beautiful boy he is!
Yes, he is very beautiful. A gift, just for you - and now, all of us.
I am sorry for your loss of your dear mother.

I love this little fox. I wish we had them around here...we have coyote, not nearly as dear in appearance. Your photography skills are fabulous.
