Swaledale, Yorkshire, England

How wonderful it would be to have a meadow of yellow flowers as the front yard of your lovely English stone cottage. The view from the back garden is spectacular too. via

Poor England, it's suffering with winds and flooding too. I think many citizens there are longing for days like the one pictured in this post.

I'm wondering what is blooming in that field, it reminds me of Rape. Europe in the spring and early summer is covered in yellow blooming Rape fields. This is a lovely perspective whatever is blooming.

The Yorkshire Dales are absolutely beautiful. I think I became aware of them because of James Herriott. I have been there 3 times and each time it was better. I know Swaledale and it is beautiful even in the rain.
About the caregiving feelings. I nursed my husband through his last terminal illness. Be kind to yourself. Understand that your feelings are normal. Give yourself a break when you can and reach out to others. We understand.

Rosemary,
Such a serene setting...there is something magical about the U.K. countryside.
