My Mother Was Discharged -- Hooray

Home has never looked so good. The pets were happy to see my mom and now we can concentrate on getting back to normal. Anna says she feels surprisingly good! The staff at the hospital loved her. She was a model patient since she was a nurse herself at one time. Thanks for all of your wonderful notes and your prayers.
The curved tree on the far left is the one that came crashing down during Hurricane Sandy. That was one I never considered would be a potential problem. Luckily the damage was minimal...just some scraped shingles. It was definitely guided by angels.
It's SO good to be home again! Sigh.

I'm happy for you both! There is no place like HOME! I know the feeling. We must both be homebodies. So glad that tree didn't do much damage, either. So many people don't get to be in their homes now : ( Happy, cozy homelife to you and your Mom, Rosemary!!

Glad to hear she's been discharged! My mother was in the ER a few weeks ago, too. Severe dehydration and heat stroke. We almost lost her, and she's still not 100% yet.

It is FRIGHTENING when you come so close to possibly losing a parent. I'm really glad your Mom is okay.

Rosemary,
I didn't know your mom was a nurse in her career days, that's great. I'm so relieved to hear she's home and well on the way to recovery...with the love of her family surrounding her I'm sure she'll be good as new by weekends end.
Enjoy the weekend.

This news is music to my ears. Home and it's comforts will top off the cure to be sure. We shall all sleep contentedly this night knowing that Anna is well and safely returned to the cottage.

Dear R.,
I've just opened your page and see all the news... My goodness! In a few days your world went upside down...
Thank God! Your Mom is home, safe and sound now.
Hope she feels good, everything is OK, and whatever it was that sent her to the Hospital is solved and got over.
All the best, for you both, and warm regards from a reader in Canada,
A.
