Good idea, I wonder how long it took to grow this hedge?

I'm hoping you will blog about how you survived without electicity for 8 days.

Really, I can see you on a laddèr with an extension cord trimming the hedge!! Here in Oregon ice storms hit on occasion, the big hedges get messed up from the weight of the ice and snow!

Yes, I would like to hear how you and your Mom and faithful companion fared without power!

I love hedges. The Brits have that mastered.
Have a great weekend.

and . . .
number three!!! to want to know how you fared without power.
my zeke and i went for 7 days two winters ago. we often lose power here due to ice storms. it was right at christmas. so i listened to christmas music on the battery radio and read books and we just stayed in bed all bundled up. the last day it was 39 in the house and i was thinking i'd better go somewhere when... the lights came on! yayyyy!! which i'd had your beautiful fireplace then! but a loving dog can keep you pretty warm.
