Tiny Cook's Kitchen

via This could be called the little kitchen that could, couldn't it? Have you ever seen so many pots and pans in one spot? Sir Cooksalot definitely lives here! Love the small 6 burner stove too. I would be so afraid that stock pot would come crashing down and chip the enamel. I would dearly love to see the rest of this room. The clock mirror is beautiful and must be used to converse with others in the room while cooking.

I have an oval pan like the one in the center of the stove. It has a lid and I call it a Dutch oven because that's what my grandmother called it when it was hers.
(Yes, we must find a better place for the stock pot.)

Very pretty, but I'm not sure I would want to look at myself as I cooked.

While living outside of Dublin, our French friends would have us over for crepes. Her stove had two burners and the whole kitchen, with dining table, was probably no bigger than 10 feet by 8 feet. Not only would she cook wonderful savoury and dessert crepes, but she cooked for the Aga Khan when he visited his Irish Thoroughbreds stud farm out in Kildare. We actually got to watch her husband and daughter train and excersise these beautiful horses! Lovely times for 2 years.

It's that shelf above the stove that worries me...non-combustible I hope!
Do love the mirror though.

Hi Rosemary,

I went looking and found this kitchen on Apartment Therapy:

It is the home of lighting designer Marjorie Skouras - all the rooms are so rich. I adore the copper pots - swoon!

Thanks for finding and posting the link. That was a fun slideshow to view with my coffee.

Be safe in the storm.

I agree with Cindy, I don't think I would want to look at myself every time I cooked and yet, I like this kitchen very much even with the elegant mirror.

Thanks Marcy for the link, I also enjoyed looking at the rest of this house.
