This is our little house guest for a few days. He goes home late this afternoon. Henry is a picky eater but I finally figured out his problem. His food is tasteless! Sooooooo, I've been doctoring it up. This morning I poured hot soy milk left over from my latte over his cold wet food from the fridge and I mixed some of Webster's kibble along with the awful stuff he brought. Henry became a member of the 'Clean Plate Club' for the very first time ever this morning! See that wagging tail? I think he wants more.

Henry is a fortunate boy. Hmm . . . I am thinking that I might show up on your doorstep with empty bowl in hand. Rosemary, the Cottage definitely is 5 star lodging for local canines with Webster as host and you as personal chef.

His master must be trying to keep him slim and trim (obvious from your picture of him), but slim and trim doesn't mean it can't be tasty and nutritious. Good job, Rosemary! Henry will be wanting to come back again and again.
Yes his diet is designed to keep him trim but he is actually underweight and he's just a puppy. I like to see them eat with gusto.
Did you taste his food to see if it was indeed tasteless? Or did Webster help?
HaHa...no, Angela, I didn't taste the gray low fat canned food. This little guy needs a little fat on his bones. Even Webster who eats anything isn't wild about trying to steal Henry's food.

Tam...I'll tell his mom when she picks him up. You are so right. He can diet should he ever get fat and I doubt he ever will.
