I have several windows that could use Bermuda shutters in the summertime. Especially one in my bedroom that gets the late afternoon sun. I wonder how hard it is to find the hardware? I love this old carved marble dog statuary too. via
I see these periodically in Florida where they are wonderful for deflecting the hot sun from the rooms. They also serve as hurricane shutters when lowered, if necessary. Great pic!

Great shutters. Don't see them much over here - maybe the odd one in houses up north where it's tropical.
I very much like the dog statue - wonderfully aged patina.
