Thank you so much for posting this! When I was a little girl, my father planted a hedge all around our backyard. His business often took him to the UK, so he was inspired by their lovely hedges. After they had grown to be tall and thick, he cut a little mini size doorway into the hedge for me and for my friends. Going through that doorway always made us dream of entering magical lands. I have never forgotten it and is the fondest of memories. This childhood home came up for sale last spring and the owners had cut down the hedge. In my mind however they will live on. I am pinning this!

Love doing this in subdivisions with deed restrictions against fences in the front or sides.
