floating Ivy

Look carefully and you will see the tiny roots on the ivy just waiting to attach to something. It is very determined!

Oh Rosemary it attaches fast. As I type R. is outside pulling it away from the roof. I have a love/hate relationship with English Ivy. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Love this pic Rosemary. I have ivy growing up the walls of my potting shed. It's tenacity is truly amazing and sometimes a bit aggravating too because it can so easily work it's way right through the siding. I forgive it however because it's oh so charming. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

It sure is determined!! It completely took over a couple of my gardens when I got too busy to keep up and it went up my one chimney lickity split!! I keep it cut off my back shed or it would have been covered by now!!

I can't grow ivy because the deer love it. Maybe it's just as well because I could never keep up with it.

It sounds like wisteria. Only worse.
But it's so beautiful. The home inspectors hate it and always advise ripping it all off in their reports but most people don't.
