Owls are amongst my very favourite birds. And these two are truly stunning.
We live in a forest where the endangered "powerful owls" call home. They are huge birds with piercing eyes that look right through you. They are the largest of the Australian nocturnal birds.
aren't they just beautiful! i love all owl faces. these look like husband and wife. and i find it fascinating that they're both holding up one little claw! resting? you wouldn't think they could balance well!

I am an owl lover as well, having spent months watching a live feed from an owl box a couple of years ago. I know I'm a nerd!

You are too funny and not a nerd at all. Owls are fascinating! Enjoy your weekend.

I adore this photo. Do you have any idea how I could discover who the photographer is? Thanks!
