I love the look of white flooring and in this office it makes the space so bright and tidy looking. But I know from experience that it's not at all practical. I had a white tile floor in the kitchen of my last house (not my choice) and I mopped it at least once a day and sometimes twice a day. Maybe this office owner wears slippers and never makes a mess.
Brown dog hair on a white floor would never work for me either.
