Hi Rosemary, Just have to tell you I just ( first time!) clicked onto your real estate site and noticed your office on Village Rd. Growing up, I lived on Village Rd in New Vernon back in the 60's for 5 years. Did you know Dr. Swain and family? We lived next door to them next to the Whitehead estate? Small world. Many memories there! Such a beautiful place in NJ. Susan
Susan....I didn't move to this lovely area of NJ until 1973 and I didn't get my real estate license until 1991. There are several New Vernon natives in my office. I'll try to locate your old house using those names. I just pinned your deconstructed peach pie recipe from your cookie scoop blog. xo, Rosemary
Thanks Rosemary! Our house was on an old estate set 1/4 mile off the road down a long drive and originally it was a stable that was redsigned into a house back in the 40's by the architect who, I believe, my Dad bought it from in 1958. The Swain's house was a sewing house...or weaving house. Our house was so neat...it was U shape with a hugh courtyard and stables in the back...I so miss it! Susan
this is my kitchen. of all those you've shown. this one i absolutely love. maybe it's the windows and the view and the fresh white... and the minimalism! love it.
i still do. only i would want it on the scale of your kitchen. yours is just the right size for one person (or two, in you and your mom's case). i'm only one. my kitchen is galley style and i like a table in it... but mine's too small. i just love the white and windows. thanks for the great link. fun just to look!
Tammy...I'm glad you liked the other view of that lovely kitchen with the hanging cupboard with glazed doors over the counter looking rather like a step back cupboard. xo, Rosemary

Susan....I'll see what I can find out about your old house tomorrow at my office meeting. It sounds wonderful but I cannot place it.
Later, Rosemary
Tammy....
Here is another view of "your" kitchen. Do you still love it or do you love it more?
