I have some blackberries in the freezer, so maybe I could make this tomorrow. I'm canning chicken today, the whole house smells like chicken noodle soup!
That must be a wonderful smell. You are so smart stocking your pantry for the winter. You deserve a treat after slaving over a hot stove. This cake with blackberries would be nice.
Thanks for having this recipe on here and the link. It looks so good and I think I could use rice flour and make it gluten-free! (My husband had celiac disease.) You know how you have the work "here" and you click on there and go straight to that other blog, how do you do that? I can only type the link directly. Thanks, KAY
Kay....I'm sure rice flour would be perfect for gluten free breakfast cake.
It's so easy to add a link to your blog post. I have already copied the URL of the website I want the link to take the reader to and then I do the following. I highlight the word here and go up to the toolbar and click on link. When that opens I paste the URL in the box and click ok and poof...a link has been created.

Yum! I have blueberries in the refrigerator and guest coming for the weekend. hmmm...think I might check this recipe out. Have a wonderful weekend!
That looks like it would be good with any kind of berry...raspberry, blackberry, strawberry.....maybe even cranberry!
Angela...
You are right. I would love the tartness of fresh cranberries. But guess what! I don't have any of those berries you mentioned in the house.
Off to the market I must go later today.
Enjoy the weekend, Rosemary
