Do you like islands that differ from the rest of the kitchen? I think I would prefer this one to match the white cabinets with white marble countertops. It still looks nice though. What would you have done? via
wow. always love white kitchens and blonde wood. and the white tile makes it look so fresh. but instead of that enclosed grey island i would have an old farm table i think. it could be used as an island or a table when needed. am old fashioned. i just like a table in the kitchen if it's big enough for one!

I think it might depend on the size of the kitchen. The kitchen in your photo is lovely, but we can't see what is on the other side of the island.
