Once I went with a boat from Holland to England and saw the whites cliffs of Dover. I remember the beauty of the colours. The see was green and the air was violet. It was raining and a lot of wind. I was moved from all of this very much. I think it is the best place to enter England. Greetings from Geri
one of my favorite songs is white cliffs of dover. i always cry. we were there to take the ferry to calais. i didn't really even want to go to france. i could have spent a delightful afternoon slowly exploring dover. i remember mostly big barge type boats. but then we were on the dock to catch the ferry. sigh. this picture is just exquisite.
Sorry to disappoint you all this is not Dover. In fact its a long long way from Dover, it's Beachy Head lighthouse, at Eastbourne. I know I stayed there a few times.
