I hope you are having more luck with the sun than I am. I know it's still in the sky thanks to this iPhone capture on the bed in my guest room. It didn't last long and now it looks as if there's going to be another shower. Have a good Memorial Day Weekend no matter what the weather.

Rosemary, We had a sad 5 minute rain yesterday. Our lawns look a fright. I would like a nice soft evening shower. It's very warm here today. Stay safe. Smiles, Susie
Rosemary,
So sorry about your grey days...I'm in Austin and I must say a little gray and cooler temps would be welcome...90+ humidity a zillion. Phew...it's warm. Thank goodness for air conditioning.

I can't believe I'm saying this in May, I wish we would have rain. We can water our plants but nothing replaces the real deal.
i'll trade you your raindrops for the 45 mph winds we had all day...
i guess i shouldn't complain.
it's now almost 9:30 pm and they've dropped to 25 mph!
i love the cozy simplicity of your guest room and the greenery out the window. lovely!
Love the bed!
Another intriging photo peek into your cottage. I'm sure all your guests love the view from that FAB bed.
We have been greatly in need of water as we had so little moisture Nov-April and so I've been happy to have the gray days and rain in May. Right now Virginia looks so beautiful. While we were at the beach I guess a huge storm came through. When we returned home we had no landline phone, no cable TV and no internet. It required a tech /repairman visit and replacement of boxes inside and outside the house to get everything working again. Thank goodness for iPhones and iPads
I hope your days are getting sunnier.
