Stander and even in this lovely bathroom I would still be a stander. At this point in my life some habits just aren't worth changing. Love the marble counters.
hahaha. am a stander too. i think from always being in a hurry to get to work. now i'm retired and i could be an elegant sitter. but it just wouldn't feel right! it always seems lovely though... seeing a beautiful vanity. my fantasy self sits i guess.
Lovely bathroom! And it would work for me as I always sit down to put on make up. I hate putting even the slightest bit make up on and I think that it just seems easier to tackle this chore while sitting.
Growing up as an only child I had a vanity and I sat. Once I moved into an apartment I had to stand and have been standing every since. I'd love to have room for a vanity and charming chair where I could apply my make up using my 12x magnifying mirror!
I have always been a sitter. Even in high school (I'm now 47) I would sit on the edge of my bed with a little table off to the side with my make up and brushes. Now I have a lovely vanity (though not nearly as nice as this one) and I truly love taking my time to get ready in the morning. I think when you can give yourself a little treat like this, the day starts all the sweeter.
