Several years ago one of our family had a terrible accident- That Christmas everyone received a plaque from me that read:"It's easier to prevent a crisis than to deal with one." (author unknown). It's become our family motto, and each of my three children have it hung over a door.
With a precious 13 month-old with us all week to enjoy, we have learned the need to find a balance of rest to fuel the happy and on-the-move hours. Why then do we sometimes feel guilty/owe apology for taking on a good side of SLEEP, the restorative force? I certainly already am looking forward to putting my head on the pillow tonight. Linda

Ditto here too- early riser- too late to bed "every night". Would love to learn a better balance.
P.S. LOVE the Family Rules one also!

As I read this sign I realized even though it's only 8:00 PM I could hit the bedroom. Oh well, I'll survive.

I've been doing exactly the same thing. Yikes, am I walking around in a daze. But so much to do and so little time.
But I am definitely not at my best lately.
