And thank goodness for that. This another sign from the house with the chickens and the plaque about the dog hair. There is more to life than having a perfect house, isn't there?
I gave a trivet years ago to my mother that said that. It was our "standing joke". She wasn't very fond of housekeeping....but she had a wonderful life. It sits in my kitchen now as a reminder to get out there and enjoy the day. Have a great weekend, Rosemary!
You are preaching to the choir here Rosemary! I used to be a fanatic about cleaning and polishing and thank God I got over that. About 10 years ago I came to my senses and realized that the last thing I wanted to be remembered for in this life was my ability to sanitize anything and everything. I am a much happier person today! I hope you, your Mom and Webster have a great weekend!

She doesn't clean her house, she has staff to handle that.
